S3Drive - FileLu rclone

Hi, When i import an rclone.conf the FileLu rclone integration is giving me the attached error. On linux and iOS i tested it. Rclone to FileLu via S3 is working.

Any other rclone app I've tried works with the config fine. S3Drive results in that error

Using s3 rclone config works to connect to FileLu. Using the native rclone FileLu config does not work on S3Drive.

Any update on a potential fix here?

We didn't have chance to look at it. In the meantime, is there any downside if you use rclone to connect to WebDav or S3 endpoint instead of native connection? (edited)

Not really, I suppose, though WebDav can be less reliable for numerous small file transfers or very large file transfers. I always prefer native rclone where possible.

I'm having the same issue. I was able to connect using the iOS app "Enter Space" by Blaine Miller with the same rclone.conf file. This is strange because both apps work with rclone.

Any updates to this?

It doesn't seem to be working yet. I hope it gets fixed. FileLu's WebDAV is unstable, so I'd be happy if I could connect using Rclone.

Hi! This is a review of the Android version. Small files around 100MB can be transferred without any problems. However, when the file size exceeds 2GB, encryption takes an unusually long time. The transfer happens in small increments every few minutes.

Do you think it's encryption related? Is it any faster without encryption? Not sure if we need to aim for some crypt optimization on mobile platform or look elsewhere.

Previously, there was a huge difference in transfer time between encrypted and unencrypted files, but in Ver1.17.3 (build 10170300), the difference seems to have diminished. For a 3.9GB file, the transfer speed is now 17MB/s with encryption and 20MB/s without encryption. I don't know why, but it's significantly improved. I updated the S3Drive app on Google Play after my last test.
