Community / support / activating Ultimate Lifetime license

Hello, I have purchased the "Ultimate Lifetime" license but it seems the only way to activate the license to bypass the limits is to login to S3Drive,. I don't have any plan to use S3 drive storage and simply would like to use a custom backend but not sure how do that without logging in to s3drive? (my app runs in an offline system and I am not able to login) How can I enable it without login? (I plan to use in windows desktop, mac, ios and android)

Hi, thank you for your purchase. What a coincidence, same question was asked just a while ago: https://discord.com/channels/1069654792902815845/1466922998614196326/1466951928771645482 "In the future there will be offline licensing: https://s3drive.canny.io/feature-requests/p/offline-licensing so user will generate some license token and authorize the client via code, QR code or some other mechanism. In that case no account will be required really."

Once you login in fact you're redirected to S3Drive storage, but you can then go to the Accounts page and switch to your custom back-end and application won't bother you about S3Drive storage anymore. S3Drive storage is the default path, as significant amount of our customers don't really want Custom Provider and API keys, they simply want fast way to backup their media and have access to the cloud.

It sounds like we may have to prioritise this feature, as it's getting more and more popular. By any chance, can you connect your system online only to login to your account and the make it offline? I can't recall, but license will work without connection for quite a while, until it expires and needs internet connection to re-verify.

I hope we can deliver Offline licensing in the next 2 months, but can't promise anything.
