S3Drive - KDE Plasma 5.27.12 System Tray Icon empty

There is no icon in the system tray. An empty spot is there, which interacts as if the icon were there, but no icon?

Update. This only happens with the Flatpak version. Appimage works fine.

Thanks for your report. What's the underlying OS? Once you click on "empty" placeholder, does any context menu appear?

Sorry for the delayed response. Been having trouble with my discord account. finally got back in. To answer your question, the context menu does appear. The underlying OS is Ubuntu 24.04 on two of my Systems and Debian bookworm on my laptop. All of them run KDE plasma of various (current) versions. The Ubuntu systems use X11 and the Debian is using Wayland.

I am also having the same issue. I am using the Flatpak version of S3Drive and the tray icon is present but invisible, but right clicking where the empty space is does bring up the context menu. I am using Nobara, which is currently running KDE Plasma 6.4.4 on Wayland.

I think it's a Wayland flatpak specific issue. Also happens to me with flatpak, but not with appimage
