Sorry but I don't get completely the deletion policy, if I use hard delete, it restores the whole storage space that my file used? (including the versioned files), or it only deletes the last versioned file? "hard delete" implicates what it does but I have my concerns after reading the footnote

For versioned buckets. Given that you have file: notes.txt having latest version A and previous version(s) e.g. B and/or C. If you use Hard delete then A version will be deleted permanently, whereas versions B and C will remain untouched. If you use just Delete, then A version will be kept, but it will stop appearing in the listings. Such version was just soft-deleted and is still available in Trash for either Restore or permanent deletion, along with the previous versions. (edited)

Then if I use just delete, B, C, etc are effectively deleted?

If I use that on your managed cloud, the above happens and A is moved into trash right? Btw is there smth like permanent deletion after 30 days?

Just "delete" from the Files listing won't permanently delete any version. It creates so called "delete marker", which is basically and entry to hide most recent version. You can manage "soft-deleted" versions from the trash, where you can delete all versions or delete/restore specific version (e.g. latest, oldest or whatever you pick).

Delete and Hard delete as described above works on any S3 versioned bucket, including our managed cloud. Permanent deletion after e.g. 30 days is possible with S3 Lifecycle Policy. Some providers e.g. Amazon or Backblaze support specific rules how to treat objects after some time (e.g. delete or move to a different tier). We don't support lifecycle policies for our managed cloud just yet. From S3Drive you can use: "Clean all non-latest versions" from the: "Profile settings". We plan to expand that functionality, to define e.g. delete all versions older than X (user will be able to specific the time period).
