Community / support / Even bought a business license but the license doesn't appear to the app?

Hi Tom, I was a bit undecided if I should bought the ultimate or the business version. Now I have created an account and ordered the business version. But after I added the account to the app, but the app didn't unlocked the ultimate features... Even I saw an undocumented to connection to port 6447. What's the reason for this connection, because I want to keep the app safe and the keys secret. Thanks a lot for your help and your software development! Greets Tom!

Hi @Namex, Thank you for purchasing the license!

Do you need any Business specific features: https://docs.s3drive.app/plans/ or your company revenue exceeds €100,000 per year? If both answers are no, Ultimate might come out better financially.
But after I added the account to the app, but the app didn't unlocked the ultimate features...
Did you receive any error message? In principle as long as you're logged in to S3Drive using your Business account it unlocks the app and allows you to use both Business/Ultimate features. Even if you switch to other account: https://docs.s3drive.app/setup/providers/ all app features shall work just fine, as long as your Business account login session persist. Can you perhaps try logging in again and then open left-hand drawer menu? It should say: Business Plan Perhaps you can send us a screenshot indicating the issue?

We're not aware of our app connecting to that port, perhaps you've configured some Rclone back-end/provider which does utilize connection on that port? Did it happen on the localhost/remote interface? Do you remember what operation did you make in the app and/or what provider you've connected to? Are you 100% sure that port that you've provided is a destination port (not a source port)? We would be willing to assist you further as long as we have more details... and please be aware that if you're not satisfied with our product then we can refund your order.

Thank you for the quick answer, I will check it tomorrow again. I will use it 50:50 un-/commercial but only in very small business. I will send you screenshots later. Thanks a lot!

Just a short response. The software was unlocked now, but I don't know why - I'm fine with it. But the software already want's to talk to unknown hosts and ports. The hostname which the software want's to connect to is "queue.kapsa.io" and port 6672.

Off the office ATM, queue.kapsa.io is a service which gets info about updates that you make through the app then they get propagated to other devices (if any of them are connected), so the UI updates automatically. e.g when you delete file on iOS, then on your PC screen will update automatically without needing to refresh. You can disable that behaviour in account settings. Please note that if you enable E2E encryption then filepaths also get encrypted when sent to queue.kapsa.io, and only get decrypted on your device.

Hi @Namex, I was wondering if you managed to disable the UI updates mechanism (and as a result traffic to queue.kapsa.io) or if you have any other topics to discuss?
