Community / support / Does S3Drive work with crypt endpoints that have password + seed?

I don't see my files and I suspect it's because I have two passwords set and that it's not supported by S3D

It's not supported natively, but it's supported through Rclone config import. In such case you can export both your crypt endpoint and the one that crypt points to. Please find relevant docs section: https://docs.s3drive.app/setup/providers/#custom-configuration Relevant feature request: https://s3drive.canny.io/feature-requests/p/support-2nd-rclone-crypt-password (edited)
Personal storage compatible with S3, WebDav and 70+ other Rclone back-ends

I did import the config, but it's not showing any files in the android app. The onedrive endpoint it's referring to is working though

Did you import .ini or .json? Can you try using .json in case you’ve used .ini? Did you use a file or pasted config into text box? (edited)

I used the .ini file. I'll try the json way

Hmm how do I do the json way? I tried again by manually copying the relevant ini config, but it still doesn't work on android. It works in the Linux app though

The contents of the passwords in the android ini is also different than the rclone one

Hello, I'm having the same issue. What I've noticed is that when importing the rclone config whether uploading a file or copying the text, it "decrypts" the password and salt. So when I choose show .ini config, I'm seeing my plain text password and salt. Maybe that will help narrow the issue down.

Hi, thanks you for your comments. We've managed to find the root cause and will deliver a fix in a next release this week.
