So everytime I exit S3Drive it's tray icon persists on the taskbar because for some reason it's still running on the background, aside from that I can't open the tray icon menu (the right click). I'm using the newest version of S3Drive. The tray icon only gets removed after killing the process. (edited)

That's something that was introduced in: [1.11.0] - 2024-12-23
aside from that I can't open the tray icon menu (the right click).
There was an issue introduced in a: [1.11.2] - 2025-01-18 where we've reworked tray completely to make it work on Flatpak. This introduced an issue on Windows where tray icon wasn't popping upon left/right click. This was hopefully fixed in a today's: [1.11.3] - 2025-02-01 release. I assume it's not working for you, in which case we'll push that back to testing, try if it's Win 10 related or there is some further issue on our end. Thanks for your report!

Np and oh wow there was already a fixed, also may I ask why changelog is updated beforehand before a release rather than the opposite?

Sorry for the confusion, we publish changelog about the same time when we release the binaries. It could happen that this time was pushed couple minutes faster before .exe release ended up on Github. We tend to not wait with the changelog release, as it would be massively delayed. For instance, iOS release is still pending release (its subject to review delays), in a similar way to Windows Store release which usually takes couple days for Microsoft to process. The alternative to what we do now, would be to delay changelog until all platforms are released reliably. The challenge is that some users would find it annoying not knowing what's in the new version, if new version was published for their platform, but no changelog available. ... so shall we delay releases until we can publish them at the same time? Possibly, at additional cost of manual scheduled releases (instead of auto-release once approved). Given that we push lots of changes and improvements, we feel that delivering them promptly is a better move. We're open for changes in the future. In the meantime, probably it's good to verify the app version in the number on the release page: https://github.com/s3drive/windows-app/releases or after installing the app on the About page.
