S3Drive - Biometrics issue iPhone (FaceID)

Hello, I have activated biometric data in the new version 1.13.1 on the iPhone and now the app won't start but is stuck. Should I have entered a PIN first? Deleting and reinstalling the app didn't help and now I can't get any further. Could you make it possible in the next version to deactivate/activate Face-ID for S3Drive by ticking the box in the iPhone settings --> Face-ID --> Apps? Thank you

Hi @oraculum petere, Thanks for your comment. Do you get "unlock" prompt by the S3Drive? Can you send us a screenshot how does it look like? I know some users didn't notice the small "fingerprint" icon (left of "0") on the PIN screen (which is displayed once biometrics is enabled regardless if PIN is enabled or not). It must be clicked before biometrics login can be used. Do you see the button? Does anything happen when you tap it? We're already awaiting 1.13.2 release approval, which will bring couple improvements to the app lock and will reduce chance of potential lock-ups (e.g. by verifying if biometrics works before its enabled). Sorry for issues, but hopefully we will solve it together! (edited)

Hello, yes I have seen the little fingerprint [also exists in other apps ;-)] and also pressed it but unfortunately nothing happens. The login screen appears again and again... best regards

Hello, I updated to version 1.13.2 but it doesn't solve the problem. If you click or on the fingerprint closes the program. (edited)

Yes, you can disable PIN. In principle you don't even need to even set it up, but I've suggested that initially just so you have some alternative recovery method in case Face ID doesn't work as expected.

Well then I'll leave it as it is and be a bit happier that it works now
