Hi, Please kindly add the option to skip these forced updates ("Your version has expired"). An app with end-to-end encryption but with forced updates doesn't look good to me. Thank you. (edited)

Thanks for your comment. We're extending periods between forced updates given that S3Drive matures. This is our way to make sure users run latest version of the software, with most recent security updates. This also streamlines our support resources, so they focus on latest version instead, so we rule out users reporting a bug that was already fixed.
An app with end-to-end encryption but with forced updates doesn't look good to me.
I understand your concern, but bear in mind, that S3Drive is 100% compatible with Rclone, so user always have a choice to encrypt/decrypt files using an alternative tool. Even if S3Drive ceased to exist, users could use Rclone (with some configuration effort) to access their data.
Please kindly add the option to skip these forced updates ("Your version has expired").
Eventually we may allow skipping these checks altogether (as you suggest), but that's not the case just yet.
