S3Drive - [android/windows 1.15.9] [pcloud/ftp] Downloading window

There is no progress when downloading; it just shows a white screen.

Before this update, I could see how much time is left in the transfer window.

Thanks for the update! It seems that combination of Rclone and Android always had issues with transfer updates. We're finding workaround that would allow us: a) upload huge files without memory pressure, b) connect progress update to the upload function This isn't easy undertaking given our current structure, but that's something we can hopefully deliver over the next couple weeks. Direct upload for koofr crashes app via 1 minute (sync-copy task works well)

Hi @smad, Improvements are coming, we're working on a completely reworked Android file/folder picker which would support immediate progress updates and big files without crash. (edited)

Can you try using new option that can upload both files and folders? On Rclone endpoints it’s higher on the list.

PS: Very cool feature, but the naming is a bit confusing. Maybe need to change the icon or mention 'v2' or 'rclone' to make it clearer

Yes we need to improve that, possibly the new option would stay as it is, previous options would be hidden in case user wants to select other data sources, different than local storage. Technically we could make them also work with S3Drive, but not all providers support streaming - this would require us to create temporary file on user’s device doubling the storage needs (for big file this might be an issue)
