Given your very useful feedback so far, we would be willing to extend your sub by a year free of charge, so you don't need to worry about costs. Do you have an S3Drive account? Easiest for us is to assign a license to an account by e-mail. (edited)

I currently don't, I set up the app originally in a rush so I'm using it account-less, with an API key to Backblaze, with a Google Play subscription for the billing

Let me check if we can get you some coupon code that would give you one year, over Google Play, I need to confirm that with the team, as I am quite useless when it comes to navigating through tons of these payment options.

I'm not particularly hard set on continuing that way though, I can probably make an account and let you know the details? I don't really think it changes anything for me given I don't plan to use the S3Drive storage much if at all

If anything, I don't particularly love having to use Play anyway... and their 30% or whatever cut of payments to devs is eugh

You don't need to use S3Drive storage at all, it's optional. An account was just an option for us to have some independence over official channels... and payment unification across all platforms. Anyway, we'll keep our promise one way or another. I'll get back to you once I sort something out with the Google Play.

No worries, if an S3D account is easier I don't mind setting it up since I was low-key planning to anyway just to make accessing it easier cross device :)

We've never tried to be honest. We do allow to select: "Custom path" (manually typed) in the Sync tool which we've removed in the yet unreleased 1.16.2 in favor of the new file picker. Perhaps you can try using that: "Custom path" and see if you can copy these folders out of your device using Sync, if that works, then we will keep: "Custom path" feature or provide some buttons to preselect some "common" paths.

Did some testing - the app doesn't account for this being a possible event, so it doesn't work properly for normally inaccessible folders (ie root-level folders like /data/ or /system/). Regardless of whether superuser has been granted to it or not, the "Save" /"OK" button to add the sync just does nothing and keeps the menu up. If you exit the app and go back in it will show it as an added sync, but it will show "Next try due now" and if you try to run or stop it it's just permanently stuck on "Stopped" and refuses to run. Presumably because there's no error handling coded in for inaccessible root-tier dirs so it just hangs.

Not a big deal for me, kind of expected it to bug out - was just curious if it's possible to actually get it to do a "full system" NANDroid-style backup like Titanium Backup used to back in the day but to a cloud

We would be willing to test that our ourselves, unfortunately we can't dedicate lots of resources to that at the moment. Given that we have no experience with rooted phones, what would be the reasonable path forwards? Which model shall we get and what ROM to install for easiest experience? We need to run test version on that phone, that's way I ask. We can make notes ahead, prepare things and get to this once we have some free time. (edited)
